The Ladybug Project is a non profit charity that sponsors education and health care projects in Equatorial Guinea and Madagascar…and boy are they doing big things! I was fortunate enough to photograph their most recent event in Bonita Springs at the Trianon Hotel. The Arts for Africa event was a collection of student and local artwork and also a silent auction filled with so many fantastic donations! I wish I could explain the energy that was in the room more adequately; people were just so friendly, and so much fun. It was a charity event that I left with my heart feeling full and excited that people care about supporting such a good cause.
I have to give a special shout-out to the Executive Director, and the founder of The Ladybug Project, Kim. I know she works SO HARD for this cause and I just can’t tell her how great it is to see someone doing something so big! I know she has a lot of supporters, and in no way want to minimize how great they are too, I just wanted to say a deep, heartfelt way-to-go Ladybug Project! All of you that I was fortunate to meet, thank you for being so hospitable and welcoming.

Below are just a few photos from event…The first one is of my new friend Kiana Dancie (a hilarious comedienne), with Karla Ray (NBC2) and Kim (executive director).
I had to get in a photo with Kim, because she’s just too cool!
Little Bella is turning four this summer, but her mom wanted to be sure to capture her beautiful daughter before her next birthday; so we spent the morning in the park laughing with sweet Bella. I keep telling her mom that she needs to enroll her in modeling~ she has really great proportions~ and that smile! I’ll keep bugging her mom, but until then, here are a few of the many faces of Bella! xoxo
Just over a year ago Jarrod and Stacey met me at the Naples Pier to capture their love for one another for their engagement session. I immediately knew that these two were not only soooo in love but so happy to be together.
First Came Love…
Last year in March we met again to celebrate their marriage- and it was a beautiful day filled with so much family, laughter and love. I was (and still am) so honored to have the opportunity to capture their wedding day.
Then came marriage…
And a year later we meet again for their maternity session! When I found out that Jarrod and Stacey were expecting-I was overjoyed to hear the news! I know they are going to be a wonderful family and their little girl is going to be surrounded by so much love. It was so great to catch up with them and capture them through my lens once again. I left our session with my heart full of gratitude for all the opportunities that I have had at capturing their special moments.
Congratulations Stacey and Jarrod on the next chapter of your lives~
Soon comes the baby carriage!
